What is the Fringe? The Fringe is the most important festival of live performance in the world.
It was born in Edinburgh in 1947 and now has more than 250 annual festivals, from Australia to the USA, and from Asia to Europe.
ROME FRINGE FESTIVAL
The Rome Fringe Festival has been active since 2012 and represents a point of reference for all the independent artists who aspire to reach an international audience.
The reasons for its success are the audience – tourists, people from the Arts industry, theatre lovers – and the charming locations that include Villa Ada, Castel Sant’Angelo, Villa Mercede, La Pelanda, Teatro Vascello and Teatro Piccolo Eliseo).
The Rome Fringe Festival is also an open window on up and coming Italian theatre talent.
Roma Fringe Festival is a proud member of World Fringe.
